I've traveled mostly around the map, but i have never encountered these things. I tried searching and didn't get anything off. Lets start with the obvious stuff, take two palicos that support you, i did the quest after this one with a healer and a fighter palico. Gathering is not really a priority in this fight. Finished the crimson fleet questline but burden of proof wasn't done like for most other people.
