Grade Replacement Uiuc

To submit a grade replacement, students must understand the following rules: Students may use for grade replacement up to a total of four distinct courses, not to exceed a maximum of 10 semester hours. Undergraduate students may repeat courses for grade replacement according to the following set criteria.

If these conditions are not met, the general policy governing repeated courses applies. Undergraduates have the option to repeat courses in which they’ve earned a 'c−' or below. Complete a grade replacement request form and submit it to your college office. A separate form must be completed for each course grade replacement request.

If you are considering grade replacement, first see your advisor to discuss whether it makes sense for you to do so. Then, complete an online grade replacement request form. You will then be notified by las as to whether you meet the eligibility criteria to elect the grade replacement option. A student may request eligibility for grade replacement using a grade earned in a course taken no earlier than fall 2010. A college may not authorize retroactive application of the policy.
