PGCPS Staff Portal: What Staff Should Know About Security

The mission of the department of security services for prince george's county public schools is to provide a safe and orderly learning environment that reasonably ensures the safety and security of students, faculty and staff, visitors, and parents. As an employee of prince georges county public schools, all staff will need access to computer based systems. Access will be required to manage school system information including but not limited to student information, human resources, payroll, benefits, finance, purchasing, and email.

Employees have access to many payroll services online through oracle employee self service, including stop payment procedures. Remote access to the school district's information systems is required to be secure before allowing such access.
