The silo is a type of farm building purchasable from robin at the carpenter's shop. It takes two days to build. When complete, it stores hay from grass cut on the farm.

Each silo can store up to 240 hay. The current amount stored can be checked by interacting with it. For your foraging skill get gatherer and botanist and then all the truffles will be iridium quality. Making oil only increases the sell price by 200 (if it is iridium) so most farmers just sell the truffles as it would take too much time to make into oil.
