I'll skip a minor cutscene if it doesn't add anything to the story. An example of this is in ac odyssey when all the side quests are just variations on having problems with soldiers / so you want me to kill them / yes I love cut scenes, i feel like they are like a little bonus to the game itself and it's art that that developers spent time on and want people to appreciate but i know multiple people who hate watching cut scenes and want to skip every single one, even on games that are story driven, i just want to know what your reasoning for this might be?

On first play i watch through all cutscenes. Now that i have no new games to play (outdated systems) i just skip the cutscene cause i've already seen them. Mar 2, 2022 · well, i think this has largely been solved by the trend of either hold a button to skip or pause and choose skip in a menu, but i see no reason not to add an option anyway. And it's also not a bad idea to be able to turn off cutscenes altogether in the options so you don't have to manually skip them all.
