During their journey through the florian triangle, the straw hats arrive on a seemingly haunted island called thriller bark, where they encounter. Thriller bark is my second favorite arc in the series because it was so much fun watching it. All of the strawhats diverse personalities shined the most in this arc in my opinion. And perona is my all time favorite character. Unfortunately skipping canon material will bite you back at some point and theres a lot in the current arc that ties back to thriller bark.
