Thriller Bark Arc: Is It Worth Watching In 2024?

Unfortunately skipping canon material will bite you back at some point and theres a lot in the current arc that ties back to thriller bark. If the standard anime is too much of a stretch, you have two options, one pace or the manga. So i recently got onto the thriller bark arc of one piece, and although im only a few episodes in im really uninterested.

I just wanted to know if this arc gets any better (will i be hooked later on), and if its worth watching (compared to reading the manga). Thriller bark is better in manga but the ending is better in anime. I suggest to switch to anime near the end. After thriller bark, there are good arcs and the anime did it good.

So, yeah it depends on you. He did advise me that if i do read it, to watch some scenes/episodes that are just pleasing to watch. Would it be more worth my time to read it opposed to watching it? If so, what episodes/scenes are worth logging onto crunchyroll to watch? For me, thriller bark is a mid tier arc with some of the series high tier moments.
