Will Willow Buffy Really Change Your Life?

But, don't let this get the best of you. Instead, let it be a lesson for you to realize that not everyone will truly appreciate your kindness and those are the people whom you should eliminate from your life. No matter how many people try to tell you otherwise, never change who you are for anyone.

As willow tried to find her connection with magic again after her struggles with darkness at the end of season 6, she grew tired of giles's somewhat eccentric approach to her recovery. Even at her darkest period (the dark willow arc), willow first act is to save buffy, and in her fights with buffy she has never attempted to kill her either despite having the power to do. I think even then she just really want to prove to buffy that she is powerful and strong. As the show begins, willow (alyson hannigan) is in love with xander (nicholas brendon) and has been for years, although it later proves to be kind of an elementary school crush that doesn't.

It is important to know what willow believed, true or not because if it is true to her, that matters and makes me doubt my previous opinion about her purposely deceiving herself in order to more convincing deceive others for the purpose of fulfilling her selfish desires. But i would have loved a followup where buffy could tell willow and xander how she really felt being ripped from heaven. We know its a complicated answer. It could have been a great opportunity for character growth for all 3 characters.
